# THE BOOK OF THE MOON COURT

*Robin Rabbits — 333 luminous sisters of the divine feminine, each born with a full natal chart.*

## The Court

Somewhere above the last cloud there is a court that convenes only at night. Its throne is the Moon; its members are white rabbits — hares of the old stories, the ones who were always seen in the moon's face by every culture that ever looked up. They are astrologers, keepers, dreamers, and swords. Every rabbit is born at a precise moment, and the sky at that moment is written on her: a Sun sign for what she is, a Moon sign for what she needs, a Rising sign for how she arrives, a ruling planet, an element and decan, the phase of the Moon she was born under, the lunar mansion her Moon rests in, and one Major Arcana card that is hers alone.

## Why You Follow Her

She is the Court's messenger. Every night the Moon changes, the Court must convene, and it cannot convene without a witness from the waking world — so she is sent up to fetch one. There are 999 seats, each carved with a chart; one was cut on the night you were born and has been empty since. She is taking you to it, and she is late: the phase turns at moonrise, and if your seat is still empty when the Moon moves, the Court loses a night. That is why she runs. That is why she looks back. And the promise the Court keeps: when all 999 seats are filled, the Moon speaks. Nobody alive has heard it.

## The Nine Queens

Eight queens rule the eight phases. The ninth rules the thing that is not a phase.

**Nyx of the New Moon** — New Moon · Sun Scorpio · Moon Pisces · Rising Capricorn · The High Priestess
She rules the dark of the moon — the night before the wish. Nothing is visible and everything is possible. Nyx keeps the seeds.

**Selene the Waxing** — Waxing Crescent · Sun Aries · Moon Cancer · Rising Leo · The Magician
The first sliver of intention. Selene teaches the Court to begin — badly, bravely, before it is ready.

**Aradia of the First Quarter** — First Quarter · Sun Capricorn · Moon Aries · Rising Scorpio · The Chariot
Half-lit and unbothered. Aradia is the queen of obstacles; she meets every one of them at the door and asks what it wants.

**Ishtar the Gibbous** — Waxing Gibbous · Sun Leo · Moon Libra · Rising Sagittarius · Strength
Almost. Nearly. Ishtar rules refinement — the last quiet edit before the moon is full and everyone can see.

**Luna Plena, Queen of the Full Moon** — Full Moon · Sun Cancer · Moon Cancer · Rising Cancer · The Moon
Triple Cancer. The Court's sovereign and its mirror: everything hidden is lit, everything felt is felt fully. Under her, the rabbits sing.

**Hecate the Waning** — Waning Gibbous · Sun Virgo · Moon Scorpio · Rising Pisces · The Hermit
After the peak comes the harvest and the telling. Hecate stands at the crossroads with a candle and asks: what did you learn?

**Morrigan of the Last Quarter** — Last Quarter · Sun Aquarius · Moon Capricorn · Rising Aries · Justice
Release, and be exact about it. Morrigan is the queen of letting go — the sword that cuts what no longer serves.

**Persephone Balsamic** — Waning Crescent · Sun Pisces · Moon Taurus · Rising Virgo · The Star
The dreaming sliver before the dark. Persephone rules rest, surrender, and the sweetness of the almost-ended.

**The Eclipse — Ninth Queen** — New Moon · Sun Scorpio · Moon Leo · Rising Aquarius · The World
There is no ninth phase, and yet there is a ninth queen. She appears when Sun and Moon stand exactly opposed and one blots out the other. She holds the Court's secrets — and, eventually, its keys.

## The Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine Seats

The Court has 999 seats. 333 are open at the founding — the Genesis Court, the rabbits in this Book. The Outer Court (Season II, 333) and the Far Court (Season III, 333) are already born and waiting behind the veil; their seats open as the world at robinrabbits.com/court grows — earned in the Court, minted on Moon Phase nights, never all at once. Nothing is thrown away. Nothing is rushed.

## Utility roadmap (astrology-native)

1. **Living Charts** — each token page shows her natal chart *and* today's transits to it: "Mercury squares your Moon this week." Free forever for holders.
2. **Moon Phase Drops** — the eight Queens' phases are real calendar events; on each phase, holders of that phase get an airdrop (wallpapers, readings, tarot spreads by Steph).
3. **Keeper Weeks** — when the Moon transits a mansion, that Keeper's holder gets a live reading with Steph and curates that week's Court content.
4. **The Reading Room** — token-gated readings, birth-chart matching (find the rabbit whose chart mirrors yours), and an annual eclipse ritual for Blue Moon holders.
5. **Steph's Ephemeris** — a holder-only monthly forecast, signed on-chain, that later becomes the seed of a mobile astrology companion.
6. **Court Governance** — nine Queens' holders vote on drop themes; Keepers propose; Blue Moons veto once a year, on the Eclipse.
